The E-Safety Zone at Minworth

We have found many useful tools for keeping safe when online.  We actively encourage all the children at Minworth to be e-safe and take responsibility for their actions.  We always ask children to report inappropriate activity to an adult. In this section, we have listed some websites and tools that you may find useful as parents to enforce what we do in school.

In school, we have considerable means to ensure children are safe when on-line. Filtering software used in school prevents inappropriate content being accessed in school. In addition, keyword and/or phrase monitoring software provides safeguarding alerts to senior staff.

It can be hard to know how to talk to your child about online safety. From setting up parental controls to advice on sexting, online games and video apps, the NSPCC can help you to understand the risks and keep your child safe.
